Six Paintings is the film we previewed at The Egg Cafe this Summer, Part of the Independents Biannual. I wanted to show an afternoon in the life of Six Paintings. We wrote and performed the music live , We being Rachael Diop, Rod Leung, Siofra Ward and myself. The event recorded 11/10/20, The idea was to build a soundtrack compiled from interviews conducted around Liverpool last winter, on what the home means to you, and your feelings on seeing derelict streets, empty wasted homes, I then made 5 films one per window following the soundtrack, my aim was to show the house's memories, The house is talking to you, sharing its memories, its past with you. And highlight the waste, not just in Liverpool, but all over Britain. The Piece was made as a live event so Apologies for Film quality. When our current crisis is under control I will repeat the event and hope to see you then. The interviews are the Heart of the piece and my thanks to all who Contributed. Lawrie 2020
